LLK-International (a 100% subsidiary of LUKOIL controlling the manufacturing and marketing of lubricants) has joined the International Council on Combustion Engines (CIMAC).
Maxim Donde, the General Director of LLK-International has stated that “the act of joining the Council will favour LLK-International to establish a closer cooperation with the key experts in the field of development, production and operation of large engines. This will allow the Company to expand the scope of design and to put new fully marketable products up for sale. In particular, we hope that the membership in CIMAC will give us a possibility to successfully implement a ship oil production program initiated by LLK-International last year”.
CIMAC (International Council on Combustion engines, http://www.cimac.com) unites companies and organizations in 20 countries of the world that are abundantly experienced in all sectors of the worldwide combustion engine-related industry. The CIMAC field of interests also covers diesel-powered and gas engines, gas turbines applied to generate electricity, as well as marine power units and locomotives. The worldwide membership of the Council involves the engine producers, engine consumers, suppliers of fittings, accessories and POL (petroleum, oils and lubricants), research institutions, classification societies, universities, and other organizations.
CIMAC, on a regular basis, organizes congresses and round table discussions that touch upon different issues of the industrial sector, design technical recommendations, standards, and pave the way for the technologies that are further applied all over in the sector.
