In the first half of 2016, LUKOIL sold 435 thousand tons of oils and greases, a 15% increase when compared to the same period last year.
In the motor oils sector, the volume of import phase-out production in the Russian market increased by 10%, while in the industrial oils sector the figure was up by 20%. At the same time, the share of products consistent with the requirements of international motor groups, machine and equipment producers in the Company’s total sales rose to 41% from 33%. Thus, LUKOIL has broken its own historical premium products sales record.
“We persistently mitigate the production of those products which are no longer consistent to the requirements of the leading original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and bring to the market more kinds of oils satisfying best global practices. Currently, LUKOIL’s oils and greases received over 1,000 approvals from international motor, industrial and marine OEMs. Even today, the company replaces efficiently any classes of import lubricants represented in the Russian market,” Maksim Donde, CEO LLK-International, stated.
