WORLD RECORD IN AUTOMOBILE RALLY SPEED SET WITH LUKOIL MOTOR OIL

Famous driver Rainer Zietlow, together his team members – racecar driver and cameraman Marius Biela and journalist Peter Bakanov (auto.mail.ru) – set a new world record for speed in the Magadan (Russia) - Lisbon motor race, in which they covered 15,225 km in 6 days, 9 hours, 38 minutes and 12 seconds, using LUKOIL GENESIS oil.

The record breaking driver made this trip from the most eastern city in Asia to the most western city in Europe in his Volkswagen Touareg V6 TDI Clean Diesel. The car’s engine was filled with LUKOIL GENESIS VN SAE 5W-30 motor oil that has VW 504 00/507 00 specification, that for modern engines of Volkswagen. For the most part of the route the team also used LUKOIL diesel fuel. Taking place in difficult road conditions, the road rally has become a new successful validation for the efficiency of the "motor oil with a steel character".

During the motor race, which lasted from the first to the seventh of July, participants made regular withdrawals of used GENESIS oil for laboratory research. The samples were sent to a leading independent laboratory in Germany. These test results will be officially announced in September and October of 2016, at press conferences in VW dealer centers in Russia and Europe.
